ABOUT FEMALE LEADER ENGINEER
Female Leader Engineer is one of three talent programs founded and run by CoGig. The program was initiated in 2013 with the annual program period September-November. We aim to connect women and non-binary persons in engineering studies and the Swedish industry in a unique and personal way.
During the program you will be both challenged and supported in your personal development. We are convinced you will leave the program feeling empowered to take on a career in leadership in a successful and sustainable manner.
Together with our partner companies we have created an exclusive space for you to explore your interest in leadership and the different roles available at the companies. You will have the unique opportunity to build personal relationships with other engineers and leaders within the industry. Valuable contacts that might be your ticket to a great beginning of your career as a leader.

STEP BY STEP
Below you can learn more about the main activities included in the program. You will also do psychometric tests, be interviewed and have the chance to reflect and be given feedback on your performance during the program. Everything to give you an opportunity to grow in a professional setting.
First day of the program! You will perform a case exercise in smaller groups on a specific slot-time during the day. In the evening you will meet all the other participants for dinner to get to know each other.

Develop your personal leadership and career building skills through case exercises, workshops, presentations, interviews, tests and coaching from our recruiters. Be prepared to get to know yourself better.
The program gives you an exclusive network with leading companies and role models in leadership.
Get a head start in a career at the partner companies. Participants often get offered a spot for master’s thesis, trainee positions or other entry-level manager roles.
FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY
Meet likeminded women and non-binary persons in engineering studies that aspire to become leaders in the future. After the program you will be part of CoGig’s Business Network for women and non-binary engineers.

During the talent program you will get to know our ten partner companies and have the opportunity to build valuable contacts for the future. You will have the chance to meet role models with different types of leadership positions and competences. Trust us - it is very possible you will discover a role or area of business you didn't know existed.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Women and non-binary persons in their last year of masters in engineering who:
want to pursue a career within leadership in the future
are interested in the partner companies
have some kind of leadership experience
are proficient in both spoken and written English (Swedish and international students enrolled at a Swedish university are welcome)
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
If you are offered the chance to participate in the talent program we expect that you join us with great curiosity and engagement. You will be given tools and guiding on how to make the most out of the program and network with the companies, but we can't do the work for you. You will have to step out of your comfort zone to grow and take advantage of the opportunities presented to you.
